5.1-magnitude quake hits 97 km N of Metinaro, Timor Leste: USGS

NEW YORK, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 97 km N of Metinaro, Timor Leste, at 18:42:27 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 7.65 degrees south latitude and 125.81 degrees east longitude. ■
